Happy Tails - Harry is Living the Good Life in Maryland
Meet Harry: From a Texas Shelter to a Loving Family
Harry, once known as Houdini, was a homeless hound dog who needed a second chance.
Take Me Home transported him to a rescue in Maryland where he was quickly adopted!
Today, he lives with a family who spoils him with love. His new mom sent us this update that brought us such joy:
“It's been 5 months since I adopted Harry and he's been such a blessing to our famiily. Is he perfect in my eyes - yes! Does he get sad when I leave the house - yes. Does he get in the garbage - yes. Does he eat my leftovers off of the counter - yes. But he is so loyal, so loving and has the ultimate facial expressions. I couldn't imagine my life without him.”
Harry’s story reminds us of why we do what we do. Every transport, every adoption, every second chance given to a shelter animal changes lives—not just for the pets but for the families who welcome them home.
We’re so grateful to Harry’s family for opening their hearts and home and sharing their love. And to everyone who supports our mission, thank you for helping us create happy endings like this. Together, we’re giving animals like Harry the life they deserve.
If you’d like to help us save more lives, consider donating, volunteering, or adopting from an animal shelter. Every effort makes a difference! ❤️
