Happy Tails - Daisy Loves Her New Life in Boston

Daisy’s Journey: From a Texas Shelter to a Boston Family

Daisy, once known as Lydia, was a homeless puppy in rural Texas facing an uncertain future. Overcrowding at her shelter meant she was at risk of euthanasia, but thanks to our dedicated team and supporters, her story didn’t end there. Daisy was transported to New Hampshire, where her sweet spirit quickly captured the hearts of a loving family.

Today, Daisy lives in Boston, enjoying a life filled with love and adventure. Her family recently shared an update that filled our hearts with joy:

“I wanted to share an update and a few photos of our newest family member, Daisy! She’s living in Boston now and has loved exploring the city. She is the sweetest girl in the world, and my wife and I didn’t know we could love a puppy as much as we do her. She’s an angel.

Daisy has done an amazing job acclimating to our home and is settling in wonderfully. She loves all her new toys, going for long walks daily, and cuddling up with us after a long day. We are so thankful to have found her and can only hope she’s as happy as she’s made us. I get emotional seeing all of the animals that need homes, and I’m just grateful that we get to take part in rescuing at least one. Your work gave us a lifelong friend and a new part of our family.”

Daisy’s story reminds us of why we do what we do. Every transport, every adoption, every second chance given to a shelter animal changes lives—not just for the pets but for the families who welcome them home.

We’re so grateful to Daisy’s family for opening their hearts and sharing their love. And to everyone who supports our mission, thank you for helping us create happy endings like this. Together, we’re giving dogs like Daisy the life they deserve.

If you’d like to help us save more lives, consider donating, volunteering, or adopting from an animal shelter. Every effort makes a difference! ❤️
