Happy Tails - Gromit’s Journey to Happiness in Iowa

Gromit arrived as a stray puppy at an overcrowded, rural Texas animal shelter. He was skinny and ill, with untreated sores on his limbs. Like many other homeless animals in rural animal shelters, he was at risk of euthanasia. He was given a second chance by a rescue in Iowa, who agreed to take him and find him a forever home.

He left on transport and was quickly adopted by a loving family. His name is now Grayson and he is living his dream life! His family says of Grayson, “He's a beautiful boy and I'm so glad you got him out of a bad situation and up to Iowa!  He's in training for service work and is doing well.

That little tiny puppy you brought to Iowa is now about 5x BIGGER and prefers to eat his bone with me holding it.

Thank you for bringing him to Iowa!!!”

From being a skinny and sick puppy on the streets to a cherished family member is the mission of Take Me Home Transport.   The next chapter of his beautiful story of resilience and love begins there…
