Happy Tails - Buddy Howly’s Journey Home to Wisconsin

Buddy Howly arrived as a stray at an overcrowded, rural Texas animal shelter in July. Like many other homeless animals, he was at risk of euthanasia but he was given a second chance by a rescue in Wisconsin, who agreed to take him in and find him a forever home.

He was transported in August and quickly adopted by a loving family. His name is now Bowie and they said, “Our 2 children (6 and 8 years old) absolutely adore him, and we are excited to watch them grow up with Bowie!"

From being a lonely pup on the streets to a cherished family member is the mission of Take Me Home Transport.   The next chapter of his beautiful story of resilience and love begins there…
